Description
This is a part time contract opportunity that requires trips of 3-4 days a few times a month within CONUS. You will be flying the company’s aircraft approximately three hours each day. This contract opportunity will provide an hourly rate commensurate with your PIC experience that covers all on station time (flight time and ground time). You will be working with mission planners to design and execute aggressive maneuvers that will be used to support Counter UAS (C-UAS) training efforts. Travel and living expenses will be covered.
Responsibilities
Conducting pre-planned flights into C-UAS zones to run attack and/or reconnaissance missions.
Executing attack vectors that identify vulnerabilities in C-UAS tactics, techniques, and procedures
Coordinating with other PICs to ensure mission objectives are met timely and accurately
Working with other team members (mission planners) to refine and tailor flight scenarios
Documenting after action reports
Participating in pre-mission planning conference calls before arriving on station
Required Qualifications:
Proven UAS (Class 1 – 3) operations with a minimum of 50 hours of flight time as PIC
Demonstrable experience with multi-rotor or fixed-wing (including VTOL) UAS
PIC and flight management experience using DJI Pilot, DJI Go 4, DJI Fly, Litchi, DroneLink, UgCS, or other proprietary flight control systems
Served in U.S. military
Military fixed-wing or rotary-wing pilot experience is a plus
Current Part 107 certification and in good standing with the FAA
Military UAV pilots without Part 107 certification are encouraged to apply
